Privacy Policy — Slavchev Machine
This Privacy Policy explains what data the Slavchev Machine app (“the app”) does and does not collect. It is written to be honest and simple: the app is a standalone musical instrument and keeps your data on your device.
- We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
- Audio you record stays on your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
- The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.
- The only network use is Google Play Billing for the optional one-time in-app purchase.
Microphone / audio input
The app can record audio from your device's microphone, a USB audio interface, or a connected sound card — this powers the Looper feature. This audio is:
- processed entirely on your device,
- saved only locally on your device (as loops and scenes),
- never sent to us or to any third party.
We do not access the microphone in the background for any purpose other than the recording you explicitly start inside the app.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the following locally only (in the app's private storage):
- your beats, patterns, scenes, setlists, and drum kits;
- recorded loop audio;
- settings and preferences (e.g. accent colour, key bindings, EQ);
- your Pro entitlement status (whether you have purchased the unlock).
This data is not readable by us or other apps and is removed when you uninstall the app.
In-app purchases
The app offers a single optional one-time purchase (“Pro”) that unlocks additional features. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details. Google's handling of your purchase is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. We only receive from Google whether the purchase was completed, so the app can unlock the features on your device.
Permissions
- Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): to record audio for the Looper. Local only.
- Internet / Network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): used solely to communicate with Google Play Billing.
- Foreground service / notifications: to keep audio playing while the app is in the background and to show a playback control notification.
Third parties
The app shares data with no third parties. The only third-party service it communicates with is Google Play (for purchases), as described above.
Children
The app is a general-audience music tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
